The CMS XC team competed in the Union Co. 7 team invitational on Wednesday 10/1. The girls finished in 6th place.Leading the team in 10th was Caroline Roberts in a time of 13:49. Cree Slater was 17th (14:17), Jaycee Reeve 44th, Jaylynn Parsons 49th (18:31), and Kyra Branstetter 53rd (21:52) The boys had a great night with solid runs by all, but finished in second place 2 points out of first. Maysn Welter led the team in second (10:38), Leo Moyer was 4th (10:56), Desmond Shipman 5th (11:09), Graham Pflum 11th (12:32), Noah Rees 15th (12:55), Alexander Streuwing 19th (13:17), Hunter Gregory 26th (13:37), Connor Evans 39th (14:29), Boyd Dustine 46th (15:22), Aiden Carr 57th (16:55) and Nathais Rude was 60th with personal best time of 17:28. The boys varsity and Caroline Roberts qualified for the state championship and will compete with the best in Indiana on Saturday 10/4 in Terre Haute.
