On Tuesday 9/2 CMS Red traveled to Pendleton. The boys battled against a very experienced team and came up short 8-1. Goalkeepers Brady Adkins and Adam Jones had numerous saves but the Arabians proved to be capable of making shots from multiple locations on the field. Lone scorer for the Spartans was Spencer Sailor assisted by Hunter Robinson. On Wednesday 9/3 CMS White traveled to Yorktown. After a back and forth first half, the Spartans settled in and finished off the Tigers 9-4. Robby House started the scoring in the first half with an assist from Colton Crafton, Hunter Robinson netted 2 goals, Jaxon Myers and Cooper Deboard also scored in the first half. Goalkeeper Ethan Steward and the defensive line shut down the Tiger offense in the second half, allowing 0 goals. Scoring goals in the second half were Colton Crafton, Jaxon Myers, Cooper Deboard and Bentley Rowe. Assists were given by Anthony Becker, Cooper Deboard, Juanfernando Mendoza, Bentley Rowe, Waylon Hamilton, Hunter Robinson and Jaxon Myers. Both teams will be back in action on Monday 9/8 @ Home in a double header against South Dearborn starting at 5:30.
