The CMS Boys Soccer Team traveled to Pendleton Heights Middle School for a tough matchup. The Spartans fought tough throughout the game but came up short at the final whistle. The final score was 7-1 in favor of Pendleton. The passing and ball movement of an experienced team was hard for the young CMS squad to keep up with, and it showed them what to strive for themselves moving forward the rest of the season. Spencer Sailor scored the Spartans lone goal with a stunner from midfield. He caught the goalie for Pendleton off of his line and took advantage of the opportunity. The Spartans will be in action again at home against South Dearborn Monday, September 8th, starting at 6pm.
