The Connersville 8th grade Lady Spartans collected their 5th win of the season Thursday 5/7 with a convincing win over Knightstown 10-0. The Lady Spartans scored in every inning with multiple players getting hits. Charli Ficklin led the way getting 3 hits with 1 RBI. Rylynn Conley had a 3 run home run. Alexis Mays-Cox and Kyra Branstetter each have a hit and 2 RBIs. Macy Smith added 1 hit and 1 RBI. Nailey Chaney also had 1 hit. Rylynn Conley was dominant on the mound pitching 5 innings giving up only 2 hits with 7 strikeouts. Connersville played fantastic defense, committing only 1 error throughout the game. *th grade is 5-4 on the season.
