On Tuesday, May 12th, the Connersville Boys Track and Field team hosted the annual EIAC meet. The Spartans placed 7th with a score of 49.5 points. Top finishers were Kingston O'Toole, 5th in the 100, Landan Moore, 6th in the 400, Layne Shook, 7th in the 800, Andrew Miracle, 3rd in the 110 hurdles, Finn Smith, 6th in the 110 hurdles and 5th in pole vault, Bronson Lykins, 5th in the 300 hurdles, Hunter Carpenter, 4th in high jump, Jonny Ropp, 6th in high jump, Noah Roosa, 8th in discus, and Zeke Caylor, 8th in discus. The 4x400m relay team of O'Toole, Eric Evans, Michael Mason, and Moore and the 4x800m relay team of Shook, Hunter Bales, Axle Pflum, and Evans placed 3rd. The Junior Varsity Spartans are next in action this Saturday at the EIAC JV meet and the Varsity team is next in action on Tuesday, May 19th at the Batesville Sectional.
