On Tuesday, April 14th, the Connersville Boys Track and Field team hosted Rushville and New Palestine in a tri meet. The Spartans came up short with a score of 38 to New Palestine's 83 and Rushville's 46. Top finishers for the Spartans were Benton Lakes, 2nd in shot put, Noah Roosa, 3rd in discus, Andrew Miracle, 1st in high jump, Jonny Ropp, 2nd in high jump, Landan Moore, 3rd in high jump, Finn Smith, 3rd in 110 hurdles, Kingston O'Toole, 2nd in the 100 and 200, Michael Mason, 2nd in the 400, and Bronson Lykins, 3rd in the 300 hurdles. The team is next in action Friday, April 17th at the Bill Self Invitational at Franklin Community High School.
