On Thursday, April 9th, the Connersville Boys Track and Field Team decisively beat the Centerville Bulldogs with a score of 101 to 31. Top finishers for the boys were Kingston O'Toole, 1st in the 100, Lakin Lakes, 3rd in the 100 and 200 and 1st in long jump, Kooper Montgomer, 1st in the 200, Landan Moore, 1st in the 400 and 3rd in high jump, Michael Mason, 2nd in the 400, Jonny Ropp, 3rd in the 400 and 2nd in high jump, Layne Shook, 1st in the 800 and 2nd in the 1600, Eric Evans, 3rd in the 800, Hunter Bales, 2nd in the 1600, Phoenix Crabtree, 3rd in the 3200, Finn Smith, 1st in the 110 hurdles, 2nd in the 300 hurdles, and 3rd in pole vault, Andrew Miracle, 2nd in the 110 hurdles, Bronson Lykins, 3rd in the 110 hurdles and 1st in the 300 hurdles, Arthur Struewing, 3rd in the 300 hurdles and 1st in pole vault, Lincoln Shafer, 2nd in pole vault, Gavin Schneider, 2nd in long jump, Hunter Carpenter, 3rd in long jump, Zeke Caylor, 1st in shot put and discus, Benton Lakes, 2nd in shot put and discus and the 4x100 relay team of Lakes, Montomery, Ropp, and O'Toole placed 1st, and the 4x400 relay team of Mason, Ropp, Moore, and Layne Shook also placed 1st The team is back in action on Tuesday, April 14th at home with Rushville and New Palestine.
