On Tuesday, April 7th, the girls track and field team hosted a tri meet with Richmond and Seton Catholic. The Lady Spartans ended up winning the meet with a score of 57 to Richmond's 47 and Seton's 24. Top finishers for the girls included Hylee Slater, 1st in the 800 and 3rd in the 1600, Gabbie Higbie, 3rd in the 800 and high jump, Chloe Keal, 1st in the 1600 and 3200, Kiayah McKinney, 1st in the 100 hurdles and 2nd in the 300 hurdles, Zoey Chomel, 3rd in the 100 hurdles and 2nd in high jump, Evie Haldeman, 3rd in the 300 hurdles, Hannah Ropp, 1st in pole vault, Chelsea Carpenter, 2nd in pole vault, Allenah Miller, 3rd in pole vault, Brianna Adkins, 2nd in shot put, Stella Holmes, 3rd in shot put and discus, Phoebe Jordan, 1st in discus, Alex Sweet, 2nd in discus. The team is next in action on Thursday, 4/9 followed by Tuesday 4/14, both at home.
