On Friday, 2/6, the middle school wrestling team traveled to Richmond for our first bracket style tournament of the season. Out of 16 teams competing, we placed 13th with 77.5 team points and placed multiple wrestlers on the podium. Jaxon Watson wrestled his way all the way to the finals, but came up short placing 2nd in his bracket. Otto Gossett only lost one match on the night, placing 3rd. Wyatt Nobbe and Noah Rees both wrestled their way to 4th place. Brady Adkins lost a match early, but wrestled his way back to a 5th place finish. The wrestlers will next complete in a 4 way at Tri on 2/9.
