The 7th grade white boys basketball team was back in action on Wednesday night to take on the Seton Catholic Cardinals at home. The Spartans ended up with another win as they defeated Seton Catholic 33-12. The Spartans got off to a slow start on offense, not able to get shots to fall, but the overall intensity on both ends of the floor led to more shots going in in the second half. The Spartans had very good production on both ends of the floor, and did a very good job staying consistent throughout the entire game. I am really proud of how hard the guys played, they are improving every single day and will continue getting better as the season goes on. Leading the charge on offense in this game was Kai Smiley with 11 points, Koltyn Kafka and Waylon Hamilton with 7 points each, Brody Gough with 6 points, and Kash Cotten with 2 points. The Spartans are now 2-4 on the season. They will be back in action on Thursday January 8th for another home game matchup as they welcome the Morristown Yellow Jackets to Connersville.
