Connersville

On Wednesday, the girls wrestling team traveled to Centerville for the Lady Bulldog Invite along with 14 other teams. Connersville finished with 57.5 team points, putting 2 wrestlers in the top 4. Ellah Turley and Allenah Miller combined had 39.5 points alone. Ellah Turley placed 2nd, wrestling her way all the way to the finals match where she came up short, losing in the second period in a very close match. Allenah Miller placed 4th, going 4-2 on the night. She lost one early and wrestled hard to get herself back to the 3rd place match. Ava Woodward and Cora Francis also both had wins on the night, but did not place in the top 4. The lady Spartan wrestlers are set to compete again on Friday 12/19 at Franklin County in the first ever girls EIAC Conference Championship.
