The CMS 8th grade boys basketball team picked up a good team win on 11/20, defeating Union County 35-17. The boys met many of the small goals the coach had set for them such as being more aggressive on the boards, reducing turnovers, and moving the basketball on offense. Brysen Tren led scoring with 10, Jace Tibbott had 7, Brayden Bell and Alexander Struewing added 6 a piece. Kolsen Gable had 5 and Luke Meyers rounded out the scoring with 2. Gable and Struewing commanded the boards with 6 and 5, respectively. Spartans are next in action at home vs. Greensburg.
