The Connersville Girls Wrestling team turned in a strong early-season performance on Wednesday, earning 85 team points and showcasing hard work across every weight class. Leading the way was Allenah Miller, who battled her way to an impressive 2nd-place finish with a 3–1 record. Ellah Turley and Audri Brock both secured 3rd place, each finishing 2–2 on the day. Strong efforts also came from Tailynn Turner and Cora Francis, who earned 4th-place finishes. Neveah Paxton earned a 2-1 record, winning her first two ever wrestling matches. Many wrestlers gained key match experience. The Lady Spartans showed determination, sportsmanship, and steady improvement. The team’s collective effort demonstrates a promising season ahead.
